From Family Kitchen to Island Favorite

East coast wings was born from one family's love of bold flavor and coastal living right here in St Simons Island, Georgia.

In 2012, founder Marcus Holloway turned a treasured family wing recipe into a neighborhood spot that quickly became the go-to gathering place for locals and visitors alike. His philosophy was simple: use the freshest ingredients, never compromise on flavor, and always treat every guest like family.

Over the years, we've expanded our signature sauce lineup from 4 classic flavors to over 20 house-crafted varieties — from the sweet heat of our Carolina Gold to the smoky depth of our Chesapeake Bay Rub. But one thing has never changed: every batch is made fresh, every day, with pride.

2012

Doors Open on Marina Dr

Marcus Holloway opens the first East coast wings location at 102 Marina Dr with a 4-sauce menu, 12 tables, and a dream. Word spreads fast among locals and tourists visiting St Simons Island.

2014

The Sauce Lab Is Born

Growing demand drives us to invest in our own in-house sauce development kitchen. We launch 8 new signature flavors, including the now-legendary Coastal Habanero and Atlantic Honey Glaze.

2016

Best Wings in Coastal Georgia Award

Voted Best Wings in Coastal Georgia by readers of the Brunswick News for the first time — an honor we've defended every year since. The recognition puts us on the regional food map.

2018

Expanded Dining Room & Catering Launch

We renovated and expanded our dining room from 12 to 48 seats and launched our full-service catering program for events, weddings, and corporate gatherings across the Golden Isles.

Online Ordering & Delivery Goes Live

We launched our online ordering system and local delivery service, bringing east coast wings directly to your door across St Simons Island and the surrounding Golden Isles communities.

2024

20+ Sauces & 50,000 Wings Served

We hit a major milestone — over 50,000 pounds of wings served since opening. Our menu now boasts 20+ signature flavors and our loyal community keeps growing every season.
